A report in the news says that the Sultan of Sokoto has asked President Jonathan to offer them amnesty as a way of ending the war. What do you think about this?

No! I don't think so. If amnesty is granted to this people, they 'll do worst than they have done. I don't know why the government forgot so soon the atrocities caused by boko haram group. These are people who have no no respect for sanctity instead singunary which means taste for blood shading. In other words, they have no respect for human life. They neither fear death nor care about their own lives, that is why they engage in sucide bombings. A man who does not care about his life 'll not care for others and such a person 'll cause so much havoc if allowed to live freely in the society. Base on these reasons, I so think that Goodluck Jonathan shouldn't grand amnesty to boko haram. Beside, Sultan of Sokoto is not God that he must be obeyed.

Why should he grant pardon to people who are responsible for the killing of many Nigerians? That is the most stupid suggestion I've ever heard. Nigeria is looking at war if we keep on granting amnesty to criminals
