One of the things I read that Buhari said was that he was not going to devalue the Naira after it was suggested to him by powers. One question I'm asking is why it now seems that he has devalued it? The Naira was exchanging at N345 per dollar in June 2015 and about N270 at December but in August 30 2016, it has fallen to as low as N410 at the black market and this was as a result of what the CBN had done. Buhari appointed the CBN governor and probably approves of what he does. Why did he devalue the Naira even though he initially promised not to do so?
