It depends on the secondary school, primary or university. I think this is not a good/reasonable question. We have public schools and private schools, their school fees etc differ from each other, and among public schools, their payment differ also, as well as in private schools. What you have to do is to gather some money for the start of the school, but as the years go on, you will not feel the pain as you will be paying the school fees and other payment gradually. So no body can say that this is the exact amount he spent in his child's education, likewise from birth to adult hood.
