Spare the rod ad the child gets spoilt. You need to discipline them at times but with love. I've seen little children who insult their parents even at church. I guess that is poor discipline. We wouldn't dare talk anyhow to our parents when we were kids for fear. So, I believe kids need to be disciplined as long as they are under 18.
