We know that the Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo are the 3 largest ethnic groups in Nigeria. Nowadays, some other ethnic groups are claiming to be the 4th largest. Which of them do you truly think can hold that position?

The Tiv nation is obviously the fourth largest ethnic group in Nigeria. The Tiv people are located in Northern Nigeria; Taraba, Benue and Nassarawa states to be specific. Tiv people are dominant in the three states mentioned above and they are the largest in the north after Hausa. In light of this, I think that I am not far from the truth when I rank them the fourth largest ethnic group in Nigeria. If you are not satisfied with this, please go for further research. This issue is really not debatable because the Tiv people are highly populous and are found in several states as compare to the rest of the tribes that are only found in very small states across Nigeria that doesn't even equal Benue State where the TIVs are the most populated.

I know that Igala Tribe in Kogi state is the 4th largest ethnic group in Nigeria after Wazobia. Igala is the dominant in Kogi state and you can find them in large population and indigine of the state below:
Kogi- dominant
Benue - dominant in Ohimini LGA
Delter- Ochimili
Edo - Aganabode & igara
Anambara- Inuma
Enugu- Insuka, Ubolo a for & oba
Abuja - Abaji
you will also find the in part of Oyo state as Indigin also. this made Igala the 4th largest tribe in Nigeria.
