All it basically takes are the following:

- A Nigerian Visa/Mastercard
- A US shipping address(if you are not buying books or dvds)
- An internet connection

Just sign up at Amazon for a free buyer's account and you'll be able to buy anything you want.

Re: What does it take to shop on Amazon from Nigeria Reply by Felix Okoli on Wednesday November 13, 2013 at 24:24:36:

You will be able to track it from your Amazon account on the web and you will also receive an email from your US shipping agency when they receive it.

is it the us address that i would put in my amazon profile or my nigerian address?

Re: What does it take to shop on Amazon from Nigeria Reply by Felix Okoli on Thursday November 14, 2013 at 13:34:22:

You need 2 addresses in your Amazon account - The billing address and the shipping address. The billing address should be the address tied to your card i.e. Nigerian address. The shipping address should be the address your shipping agency gave you in the USA from where your goods will finally be shipped to Nigeria.

do i need to notify my shipping agency that i am expecting some goods or is there anything i need to do after placing an order in amazon or ebay?

Re: What does it take to shop on Amazon from Nigeria Reply by Felix Okoli on Thursday November 14, 2013 at 14:53:27:

You don't need to notify them. Just maintain an account with them and you can go ahead to buy whatever you want.

how do i pay for the shipping from my US address to Nigeria

Re: What does it take to shop on Amazon from Nigeria Reply by Felix Okoli on Thursday November 14, 2013 at 15:23:37:

You can pay for it with your Nigerian mastercard or visa card offered by your bank. You should get a USD card from your bank.

pleas i also need your advice on which US agent to use
1. Shippyme.com
2. Myus.com

Re: What does it take to shop on Amazon from Nigeria Reply by Felix Okoli on Thursday November 14, 2013 at 18:0:54:

I don't know about shippyme but I use myus and they've been ok. I think myus would offer a better service than shippyme but it may cost more.

Re: What does it take to shop on Amazon from Nigeria Reply by Muhammad on Thursday November 21, 2013 at 5:0:20:

is it true that myus.com can help me place my order once i get them the full details of the goods i want to buy from ebay and amazon.
And please i want to be sure if i can use my gtbank master naira card on myus.com ?

Yes, Yes and Yes. You have to enable yout GTank naira card first with your bank for online use. Better still, just get a USD card.
