I recently read a report in Nigerian news that a 74 year old woman named Bridget Abahime was killed in Kano for allegedly insulting Prophet Mohammed. Does Islam support this killing? Is it accepted by Allah?

I'm not a Muslim but what does killers did was against Nigerian law and should be punished. Even if it was in a Sharia led country, I believe the normal thing is to first take her to Sharia court and not do jungle justice. There should be a proper investigation so that justice may take place.
